Motivated by the desire to learn about life firsthand, Angela has a passion for telling stories about the people she meets along life’s journey. She discovered a love for photography while casually documenting her travels. This inspired her to pursue a career in photojournalism.

Angela holds a B.F.A. in 2-D design/photography from the University of Louisville and is currently pursuing her masters degree in photography at Ohio University.

Prior to attending grad school she was a self-employed photojournalist working for publications in Louisville, Kentucky including The Courier-Journal, The Lexington Herald-Leader, Louisville Magazine, LEO Weekly and Velocity. Her images have appeared in several national magazines including People, Nylon and Eldr.

She has completed a photographic internship at The Buffalo News and will be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands for the 2009-2010 academic year on a Fulbright grant.
